When running the new boot image wizard you get this error message:
“the specified unc path does not contain a valid wim file or you do not have access to it“
Look in the SMSProvider.log file and see if you can find these two files when trying to open the .wim with the boot image wizard:
(“Failed to get the image property from the source WIM File due to error 8007007e“)
If you do and you can verify that you have access to the .wim file.
Verify with audit the effective access to the .wim file or use dism to get the information from it.
If that is okay too, see and you have installed ADK (Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit)
Solution:
Uninstall the ADK and then re-install it.
